IMPORTANT: A quick user guide to help you navigate the new site- Please read!

Now that we’ve successfully switched over to the new site, I know some yard owners are having issues working out how to access various elements. Please read below for a quick guide on how to access your details on the new website. If you then have any further queries, please email me and I will respond as soon as I can.

 1.Please login in regularly to ensure all of your yard details are correct, and are showing the correct title for your listing. The current title shown is determined by your previous listing header and may not necessarily be the name of your yard or business. It is also advised to check all other details, especially contact details, on your listing at the same time. There has been an issue with the migration of some mobile phone numbers so when you log in, please check it shows the correct contact details for you. It is advised once you have updated your listing, that you view it as a user to ensure everything shows as you would like it to.

2.Accessing Your Listing: You now log in from the Home Page on the right hand side. Login details will be the same as with the previous site. To access your listing/s, once logged in, in the same area of the homepage, click on ‘My Listings’ > ‘Yards’ where it will take you to your control pages. On your control page, you can access all of your yard listings (you can now have multiple yards listed on your account although they are charged individually). You can amend any of your yard details by clicking the navigation buttons to the right of the listing. You can also see how many days are left before your listing expires.

3. Renewing Your Listing: If you have paid initially by PayPal your listing will be set to renew automatically upon expiration and will be automatically republished on this date. However, on occasions (such as lapsed subscriptions, or new payment details) you may need to renew manually. To do so, log in as above and go to ‘My Listings’. Then click ‘Renew’ next to the listing of choice. This will take you to the full yard details page for you to make any updates or changes as necessary to your yard details. Once completed, scroll to the bottom and confirm changes. This will take you to a  preview page. To complete checkout and renew, click the link of  the right ‘Proceed to Checkout’ which will transfer you to the PayPal website to make secure payment. Once payment is received the listing will be renewed for the specified duration. More details on the autorenewal process and cancelling your listing please see our Terms and Conditions. 

4. Editing Your Listing: Clicking ‘Edit’ next to your listing on the account page will take you to the full yard details page where you can now edit all details for your listing, including photos and vacancy status. Once you have edited scroll to the bottom to confirm your changes. If the page does not move to the ‘Preview’ page there will be an error with your amendments. If you scroll back up the form these will be highlighted.

5. ‘Enter URL’: Any web links must have the full web address… i.e If not, this will bring up an error message asking for a URL to be added and will not permit progression to the next page! Links for Facebook and Twitter pages must also be the web address, not just the name of your page or your Twitter handle.

6. Submitting New Yards and Updating Details on Exiting Listings: Please note that when you edit your listing and click ‘Review Your Yard’ at the bottom of the page, it should go to a new page showing a preview of changes and offering you the option to publish them (if it does not go to the next page, refer to item 4 above). Some users think it has saved at this point and do not confirm changes or their entry- this will then not change details on the listing! You must confirm and publish changes on the preview page! Similarly to submit a new advert, payment must be made from the review page by clicking on ‘Confirm Changes & Go To Checkout’ which will link through to PayPal for you to make secure payment No adverts will be live on the site until payment has been made for the relevant duration.

7.All enquiries will now be sent directly to your registered email address from the site with no need to log on to read or retrieve messages. As advised, no enquiries have been retained from the previous site. In order to respond to messages, simply click ‘reply’ on your email and it should reply directly to the sender (please note that due to the enquiry being generated from your listing, the ‘From’ on the initial email will show as your yard name but it will reply to the person who made the enquiry!)
