Easter Hall Park Stables

We have a full range of equine services and facilities at Easter Hall Park including full or part-time livery, riding lessons, breaking and training. Our large outdoor schooling area has an all weather surface for flat-work, jumping and carriage driving and we also have a smaller indoor area. Occasionally there are also quality horses and ponies for sale.

All riding lessons are given by our British Horse Society (BHS) qualified instructors. Providing a high quality, Licensed, Fully Insured riding school and training stables, we specialise in adapting lessons to suit the individual either in small groups or privately. Easter Hall Park is a  training centre linked with Haddon Training and NVQ Registered assessment centre. Seasonal visitors are welcome to experience the Devon countryside from horseback (A minimum of 24 hours notice will be required for bookings, (weight limit of 14 stone) or horse drawn carriage. Carriage driving tuition is one of Nick’s specialities.

There is a varied program of events on offer throughout the year including carriage driving events, ODE, gymkhanas and fun days and pony parties with special programmes for school holidays, which include own a pony days, shows and Pony Club training. We can accept young riders from 3 years of age.

Our facilities are also available for hire to riding clubs, small groups and individuals.

We have just been awarded another 5* rating after our riding school inspection by Torridge District Council.

We have excellent facilities including over 100 acres of superb all year grazing, large airy stables and caring qualified staff on site 24 hours a day. All our horses are treated with five star care and attention for their health and well being. We can offer a wide range of livery allowing us to meet your horses own individual needs. We have large airy stables and good quality grass as well as restricted grazing for those that need it. All liveries may have shared use of the facilities, i.e. indoor and outdoor schools, jumps, etc. Plus 24 hour supervision.

Easter Hall Park is situated on the outskirts of the Charming village of Petrockstowe, set in 200 acres of farmland and woodland in the beautiful Devon countryside.

There is also accommodation on site in the form of a cosy cottage and a log cabin development in a neighbouring forest, ideal for those relaxing weekends away to check up on your retired companion.
