Finley Atherton Eventing

Finley Atherton Eventing is a young up & coming event yard based in the stunning hills of Herefordshire. Which boasts large airey stables, all year individual turnout, a 60 x 30 all weather arena with a full set of BS showjumps, amazing varied hacking as well as access to 3 different all weather gallops.

Finley has been obsessed with horses and eventing from the very beginning. When he left school he went and did a couple of different placements to learn his trade at Mark Kyle, Andrew James and Lucy Jackson to name just a few.
This gave Finley the vital knowledge and experience to then set his own yard up in the autumn of 2021.
Since then Finley has been offering Competition, schooling, sales and backing livery.

Finley has a super bond with his horses and succeeds hugely with the younger ones and their start in eventing life or whichever career they will take.

As Finley has built a great reputation as a super backing rider. He really understands the concept of giving the young horses time and the right training to bring them up to a great riding horse from unbroken.

Going into 2023 Finley has a very talented team that he has produced himself from youngsters.

Finley works extremely hard and puts all he has into the yard and his horses.
2023 looks to be a very exciting year with the horses having wintered extremely well and feeling on super form.
