I brought my retired pony up from London when we moved here nearly 5 years ago and I thank my lucky stars every day that I found such a fantastic yard....it is one of a kind. Sadly my poor Molly died just over a year ago. But before her death she had wonderful turnout in the summer in an idyllic setting, and turnout on woodchip in the winter. When she got ill she was cared for with love and understanding, as though she was the yard owners own. It is a unique yard in the way everyone helps and supports everyone else and I would highly recommend. I still go every week to groom Max and to meet and chat with lovely friends.

I have been a livery at Hillenend Equestrian for the last 9 years and I can honestly say there is no other yard I would want to keep my horse. Great care is taken of both horse and owner and nothing is ever too much trouble. The facilities are fantastic and are constantly being improved to cater for everyone’s needs and make the yard the happy place that it is. Always someone to hack out with, lend a hand picking up poles when jumping in the school, or simply just to sit and have a coffee and a chat with! If you are looking for a safe, knowledgable, supportive and fun place to keep your horse then I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Hillenend Equestrian.

We bought a pony for my daughter and have had nothing but amazing help, expert advise and care since bringing her here. The yard is proffessional extremely friendly and supportive, we know she is well looked after and whenever we need help everyone has always been amazing with us. The horses are well cared for and in such a relaxed calm environment too. Highly recommend

I have a quirky mare who is very nervous and sensitive. This yard has helped her calm very quickly. There is a great routine and the horses are very well cared for. My mare has settled far better than expected and everyone has been very kind and supportive. If you are looking for somewhere that you can truly just turn up and enjoy your horse time in a lovely relaxed environment, then this is the place.
