Review by Tess Boxall, 1 year ago
A lovely yard down a quiet lane with the beautiful Chobham Common to hack on only a 10 minutes away. Grace is a friendly, kind knowledgeable horsewoman who is always available with help and advice. Grace and Ryan live on sight so you have piece of mind that someone is always there. It has a huge very well maintained school with jumps if required. The horses are all kept in a very calm, consistent routine which for my mare was key. Recommend this friendly efficient yard.

I have been at this yard since I got my horse 8 months ago. As a novice horse mum, Grace has assisted me gain knowledge and has boosted my confidence. My horse can be a huge wuss, but he is getting braver and more bomb proof each week
Horses are well cared for and relaxed. My fellow liveries are super friendly and helpful.
Close to the common and quiet lanes to hack plus there is a large school onsite
Highly recommended

We have been lucky enough to be at this yard
Review by Helen B, 2 years ago
We have been lucky enough to be at this yard for the past year. The arena is vast and outstanding with a fabulous number of jumps. Hacking to the common is a short distance and always fun. Grace is a wealth of knowledge and has the best advice for rider and horse, particularly a relative newbie like myself. If anything is broken Ryan is always happy to assist and advise. All the ponies and horses are very happy and we are very lucky to have found this little gem!

Review by Erin , 3 years ago
I have been at Grace’s yard for 2 years now and had 3 different horses there all of which have never been happier. The school and hacking are particularly amazing, the turnout is great & horses are always well looked after with their best interests put first. Everybody is lovely, and the yard has great routine and is well run hence horses all very happy, especially with all year turnout which is a bonus. Wouldn’t be anywhere else now!

We moved our two geldings here just over a month ago.
They settled instantly and love their new surroundings.
Everyone on the yard is really friendly (but not interfering) if you need them they are always happy to help.
Grace is extremely knowledgeable about all things equine and I feel absolutely at ease with the boys being in her care.
The outdoor school is huge, the hacking is amazing, the turnout is great & most importantly the horses are happy and well looked after.

Review by Sarah, 4 years ago
I've been at Grace's yard since July 207 when it was just a wooden stable block and some fields, now we have an amazing school, a canter track and luxuries like hot wash, solarium and rug dryer.
Despite being bigger it is still a lovely quiet yard with all the horses relaxed and kept in a good routine. As a first-time owner they were very supportive and felt I could always ask for advice. My horse has just come off a full year of box rest for a tendon injury and Grace has been amazing keeping an eye on him and trying to keep him happy, I was even able to go on holiday knowing he was in safe hands and being well cared for. Now he is starting to get turned out again and Grace is still keeping tabs on him for me to make sure he doesn't misbehave - they really do care about the horses and treat them like their own.
The yard has amazing hacking, only 15mins roadwork to Chobham common and only 5mins to the "ford" (more of a stream you can walk down, a free water treadmill!). Luckily for me the yard is also ideal for tendon rehab, located nearly at the end of a dead-end road and with a long private driveway out front I used the whole of winter by head-torch when it was too dark to risk the road.
As a bonus your horse will also become de-sensitised to almost anything farm-related; tractors, trailers, machinery, quad bikes, buzz-saws, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks... even huge bonfires!

This is a great yard, well run with good facilities
Review by Annie H, 4 years ago
This is a great yard, well run with good facilities and amazing turnout all year round. The outdoor school is huge so great for lessons and schooling and the hacking near by is also brilliant although you can ride around the farm very safely...it's that big! It's family run so there's always somebody on site day and night. If you are an animal lover this is place for you as there are plenty of other animals to enjoy as well! It's a happy and fun place to be for you and your horse.

My large sensitive mare has been with Grace from the beginning of her venture at Broad Oak Farm & we both love it here. A friendly, relaxed but professional atmosphere. Whether you are a happy hacker or competitive this is the yard for you. Great facilities, great location. Yes we have mud in the winter but the horses are happy. There is also a large variety of other animals at the farm dogs, goats, pigs, chickens.. the list goes on. Farm machinery working also. My mare is bomb proof now & I would be happy to take her anywhere. Your horse will certainly become desensitized but happy. We have a friendly yard chat which Grace often posts videos whilst doing her late night checks, so you get to see your horse before bedtime! I thoroughly recommend
