Lower Willsworthy Stables

Lower Willsworthy is a small friendly yard located just outside of Tavistock in Dartmoor. We offer excellent facilities including an indoor arena and stabling all under the same roof. Our stables are large 14ft x 12ft and fully rubber matted. Our grazing is superb and horses can stay out all year round if required. There is some of the best hacking on Dartmoor right on the doorstep. The yard is only 30 minutes away from the Grange Equestrian centre who hold a variety of competitions. We offer several livery options and can also tailor make a package to suit you.
REHABILITATION LIVERY-
Lower Willsworthy is the perfect place for your horse to enjoy some R&R whilst recovering from an injury or operation. Being a small quiet yard means we are ideal if you have a horse who gets stressed in a larger environment . Owners always comment on how well their horses settle. Our stables are the perfect size if you horse needs to be on box rest. The fields are level and well drained. Horses are able to stay out as much as required. Restricted grazing can also be provided. We can assist you with vets, farriers, physio and other professional treatment. You can be rest assured that your horse will get all the individual attention that they need and deserve.
