Offering true 5* Full, Competition and Breeding Livery on an exceptional private estate in Shamley Green. Monks Stud and Showjumping is a private showjumping and breeding stable based on 100 acres in the beautiful Surrey Hills. We are a small yard offering exceptional individual care.

Full livery, Schooling Livery, Breaking Livery and Competition Livery available. As a working Stud, Breeding, AI and Foaling Livery are available as well as limited youngstock, weaning and broodmare livery. We provide a 5* Care and individual plan for each horse.

Base your horse in a professional and friendly environment. We treat every horse with the same outstanding care and tuition from your happy hacker, riding club and dressage horses to our own high level show jumping horses. We limit our livery spaces ensuring the highest individual care possible.

We offer indoor barn stables with automatic drinkers and rubber matting, Monarch 5-horse horse walker, solarium, stocks, cross ties, hot & cold water washdown. We also have an indoor & a mirrored outdoor arena – Both with professional dressage/jump surfaces -with full set show jumps and miles of off-road hacking. We offer all year round turnout on 40 acres of sandy soil. Ad lib hay or haylage is provided including in the fields in winter. Visiting physio, vets & farriers.

Training and Competition programmes are also tailored to each individual horse and lessons and training is available for all clients and owners.

Monks Stud also specialises in the breeding, sale and import of elite showjumping foals, youngstock and competition horses, and is proud to source outstanding sport horses throughout Europe for private clients and Monks own competition string. We are able to take in foaling and AI breeding liveries on a seasonal basis working closely along side Arundel Equine Vets. With Monarch breeding stocks, Large foaling boxes, and stable cameras you can relax and know that your mare is in the best hands possible during breeding and foaling. We can help you to choose the perfect stallion from a vast selection of word class European and British stallions and arrange everything for you. We can also offer limited young stock, weaning and broodmare livery.
