Mount Mascal Stables

Mount Mascal Stables is our combined riding school and livery yard established in 1966. It is a large and modern equestrian facility with a track record of success and growth.

Our long-established livery facilities and services offer the very best for the private riding client horse owner to enjoy precious time with their horse. Our livery business consists of two distinct yards, namely Mount Mascal Stables (combined riding school and livery yard) and Little Mascal Farm (livery yard only). Each location has its own identity and individual ‘feel’, yet the facilities and services offered at each location are open to all our livery clients stabled across the site.

Our friendly, professional and dedicated teams work to best practice and our yard routines provide an organised regime and care for individual requirements. All levels of livery service are available from full to DIY and field. We also cater for holiday, convalescence and other ad hoc requirements. A full range of extra services such as clipping and trimming, rug washing and assistance to the vet and farrier are also supplied on request.

We are very proud of the reputation of our livery business as family friendly and welcoming, whether you are a more experienced rider or a first-time owner. Many of our livery clients were once riding school customers who chose to buy a horse or pony from the riding school and stay with us to enjoy our support and on-going commitment to them.

Our qualified and experienced staff have a broad range of knowledge and specialist interests and enthusiasms. We aim to provide lesson options to suit any rider, regardless of age or experience. We believe that we can help you, whatever your equestrian goals and hopes. Once assessed, our clients are provided on-going coaching and advice against your requirements. We emphasise the importance of sound basics and take a step by step approach for you to achieve progress and success. Lesson options include private (121), semi-private (122) and group sessions for all aspects of riding and care. Our Starter Sessions are weekend group riding sessions and are a super introduction for children.
