Pentire Sport Horses is a competition livery yard situated in Sherfield-on-Loddon on the Hampshire and Berkshire borders between Reading & Basingstoke.

We offer a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly yet professional yard in stunning surroundings conveniently situated between the M3 and M4 near Basingstoke Hampshire, where we offer outstanding facilities and outstanding care in a stunning and homely environment.

Pentire is owned and run by Event rider Sorrel Porteous who is also listed as one of the top 105 people in the World for Equine Welfare. She has contributed greatly to the FEI research and development programme for Equine welfare at all international equine events.

Pentire is home to a number of top International human and Equine athletes but also caters for every level. It is a friendly and welcoming yard for all and offers every level of livery from retirement packages to competition livery.

Pentire Sport Horses has long been established as the chosen home and base of many of the World’s top riders and their horses. It is also an outstanding livery yard with access to some of the best facilities and trainers available. Some of the owners like to just enjoy the quiet surroundings with their horses and love the exceptional care given. Other owners make full use of all the facilities that Pentire has to offer.
