Sandstone Livery at Kelsall Hill

Sandstone Livery offers a five star livery service based Kelsall Hill Equestrian which is considered the finest equestrian facility in Cheshire .

Immaculate facilities and location, offering 5 and 7 day inclusive full livery packages, with all horses cared for to an exceptional standard as if they were our own. Our liveries have access to all of Kelsall Hills finest facilities.

Sandstone Liveries offers 27 rubber-matted internal stables with automatic waterers,  a heated tack room and rug room and wash down area with hot horse shower. We love the horses to be out as much as possible even through the winter months as we have brilliant grazing with well-draining fields with automatic waterers. The yard has security lighting and CCTV.

The yard has fantastic riding facilities including multiple floodlit riding arenas: 60m x 30m indoor arena with lighting and viewing gallery; 70m x 70m showjumping arena including a water complex; 20m x 50m flat work arena and an outdoor multi-purpose arena 64m x 46m which often has xc fences in and also has optional size ditches. All arenas are irrigated and floodlit.

The arenas provide top-class equipment including full competition standard show jumps, dressage boards and a variety of XC fences and obstacles for schooling. There is also a 4.5-furlong all-weather gallops including a warm-up track, cross country schooling field and fences including a water complex.

There is also a large schooling field with a variety of cross country fences of BE standard from 50cm upwards. The hacking is good with quiet lanes on the doorstep.  There is also a 6.5 mile private farm ride with optional jumps. The route offers stunning views of Cheshire’s countryside and there can be no place better on a sunny day.

The yard has a lovely atmosphere and is full of friendly liveries who are always supportive and encouraging. Our liveries are well catered for with a tea room, toilets, changing area and showers. There is also an on-site cafe and tack shop.

Kelsall Hill Equestrian is also home to regular affiliated and unaffiliated events, clinics, demonstrations and training.
