Uppgrade Equestrian

Out beautiful little yard is a tucked away in a quiet and peaceful part of the Hertfordshire countryside.

We have only six stables, four of which are occupied by our own horses who are treated as members of the family. We run our businesses from home so there is always someone on site to care for and keep an eye on the horses.

We have a horse hire license, which enables us to offer guided hacking on our horses to a handful of loyal clients. Hence we’re able to offer working livery for those who would like their horses to get plenty of exercise.

I and my business partner live on site and run the yard together, I have a background in dressage and horsemanship and she is a former high level show jumper. I have a lot of experience starting young horses and a keen interest in horse behaviour. We are able to offer any kind of full livery package including training livery, young horse starting, rehabilitation and working/ exercise livery. We don’t offer any part/ DIY options as we like to keep all of the horses on the same routine and we only have two livery stables so we like to make the most of them.

We offer dressage and show jumping training and also welcome other trainers. We have a 60 x 30 all weather arena and a few show jumps. We’re planning on installing flood lights this autumn. The hacking is directly out from our back gate and is some of the best and most varied out riding we’ve come across in the uk.
