5I've kept my mare Lottie with Ann for a Review by Lesley Stead, 1 month ago
I've kept my mare Lottie with Ann for a year now. Lottie was very anxious at first as this was her first move but soon settled in and is living her absolute best life with her pals (2 girls, 2 boys). There is fantastic hacking onto Roundway and the Calstone area. The yard is always spotless and the horses couldn't be better looked after 24/7. Ann has a lifetime experience with horses and has a wealth of knowledge and advice. Excellent grazing for winter and summer and "free range" yard turn out if needed. I've had to take breaks from riding during the dreaded lockdowns and have always had every confidence that Lottie is being looked after superbly. I know when I come back she will be fit, happy, healthy and relaxed!
5I needed temporary livery whilst in the process of moving Review by Jan moore, 12 months ago
I needed temporary livery whilst in the process of moving to Cornwall, and I was so fortunate to find Ann during this very stressful time. I need not if worried as they could not have been in better hands.
My mind was put at rest immediately by Ann's professionalism, wide experience and obvious dedication to her work. She even managed their onward transport for me.
I could not have done it without her.
Never hesitate to entrust your precious horses to this lady's care.
5Whitehill Liveries is a really lovely yard with all year Review by Vivienne Watts, 2 years ago
Whitehill Liveries is a really lovely yard with all year turnout in well-managed fields, all with natural shade from both trees and hedges. Ann is a great horsewoman who has worked with horses all her life and is very experienced and incredibly knowledgeable - and she cares for each and every livery horse as if it were her own. Ann is also an excellent instructor communicating instructions clearly whilst also making lessons great fun too (for both horse and rider!).
There is wonderful hacking right on the doorstep with stunning scenery and breathtaking views from the top of nearby Roundway Hill where you can ride for literally miles and miles along all the many bridle paths.
I would definitely recommend Whitehill Liveries and hope you are lucky enough to get a vacancy at this first-class and friendly yard.
5Amazing yard!
I kept my horse with Ann (sold him Review by Samantha Bland, 2 years ago
Amazing yard!
I kept my horse with Ann (sold him due to going back into education) and the care was impeccable. My horse was a very sweet boy but a little manic due to his past. Ann was very patient and understanding of his needs. The facilities are great and all year turn out which is brilliant. I can’t recommend this yard enough. And will be returning again in the near future..... I hope!
5Ann had my beloved Welsh cob here at livery for Review by Patrick EYRE, 2 years ago
Ann had my beloved Welsh cob here at livery for eight years. No- one could possibly have taken more trouble over him, and her standards of care are very high indeed. I give her 10 out of 10 .
5Fantastic service and beautiful location with amazing hacking. Had my Review by Sue Thompson, 2 years ago
Fantastic service and beautiful location with amazing hacking. Had my horse on full livery here for a few years (before I had my own yard) and can thoroughly recommend. My horse who could be quirky settled here beautifully and received 5* care and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great turn out and lovely stables and school.
5So glad to have found this yard, fantastic well maintained Review by cathy, 2 years ago
So glad to have found this yard, fantastic well maintained facilities, very clean and tidy, amazing grazing, great hacking and a friendly knowledgeable owner (Ann) always on hand to help where nothing is too much trouble, she is very supportive and really goes above and beyond to ensure both you and your horse are happy.
She cares for each horse as if they were her own, I feel totally at ease leaving my horse in her first class care. One very happy owner with a very happy, relaxed and contented horse.
I can not recommend highly enough, this is a special yard!
5This is a 5* establishment for many reasons not least of Review by Kath Shaw, 2 years ago
This is a 5* establishment for many reasons not least of which is the easy access to fantastic riding on Roundway Down. I love the size ( around 6 horses) and the special attention to each horse it brings. The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced and gives first class care. As an older rider I really appreciated the daily access to accompanied rides with this competent and confidence- inspiring owner. The land is very well kept and this allowed for access to grazing all year through. I reluctantly had to move my horse back home due to an injury which took a long time to heal and I really miss this special livery yard. Kath Shaw. August 2019..
5I kept my horse at Whitehill livery for three marvellous Review by Clare Collins, 2 years ago
I kept my horse at Whitehill livery for three marvellous years.
The yard is small and very friendly and Ann is an exceptional horsewoman with many years experience.
The facilities are amazing with a more than adequate ménage and the hacking is great with no need to ever go on a road.
