We have two beautiful Self catering holiday cottages and luxury horse accommodation for unique riding holidays with your horse.
Situated on our mixed arable farm, where we grow a mixture of wheat, barley, peas, beans and oil seed rape. The farm is also part of an environmental scheme and so features grassy field margins, winter bird food plots, nectar rich pollen plots and wild flower areas all of which can be seen teeming with wildlife and many species of birds, insects, hares and roe and seeker deer.
Set in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Our rolling countryside boasts spectacular views, nestled on the edge of the Piddle Valley. Our delightful holiday cottages, positioned along a private lane with an abundance of trees, hedges, fields of crops and wildlife.
We offer fully equipped accommodation in our three bedroom barn conversion or our one bedroom cottage, with home from home touches for guest’s.
We have plenty of stabling for up to nine horses with fantastic well draining turnout. American Barn Style with automatic water troughs. We offer superb individual grazing paddocks on well draining chalk land.
Our Equestrian facilities are top class, we offer exclusive access to our large outdoor Ménage, 50 X 25 with a recycled wool fibre/ sand mix surface and Jump 4 joy Jumps. We have a large lunge pen for guests to be able to exercise their horses in.
Exploring Dorset on horseback must be one of the best ways to enjoy the views and local wildlife.
We are perfectly placed in the heart of South Dorset hunt country with easy access to Cattistock and B&SV Hunts. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and day’s hunting.
The area is fantastic for walkers, cycling, bird watching, and horse riding, as well as plenty of water-based activities so perfect for those accompanied by non riding family members.
There are a choice of excellent Pubs and Inns for wining and dining in the local villages of Piddlehinton, Piddletrenthide, Buckland Newton, Plush and Cerne Abbas. Some of which are within easy walking distance of the accommodation.
We love to welcome well behaved dogs onto the farm as we know how much we all like to take our pets on holiday.
