Get Your Thermometers Ready for #SAW2023

LiveryList are yet again thrilled to be Ambassadors for Strangles Awareness Week. This years SAW is taking place 1-7 May 2023.

This year, #SAW is making the benefits of regular temperature checking known to horse owners, and we hope 2023 will be the year to educate more owners than ever to prevent or minimise the cost of a Strangles outbreak. We’re very much looking forward to making a real difference to horse health with you and Redwings this May.

As SAW 2023 approaches, it’s time to start spreading the word! For livery yard owners, its important to communicate to horse owners and clients the benefits of good biosecurity, and the risks and costs that can be associated in the event of an outbreak of Strangles, or any other infectious disease, on your yard.

To get ready for #SAW2023, Redwings are urging yard owners and horse owners to:

• Check you are following Strangles Awareness Week on social media through Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram
• Display your digital Ambassador badge with pride
• Get in touch if you have any horse owner events planned over the next couple of months – we’ll send you some goodies to help spread the word!

Our fantastic SAW ambassadors helped us reach more than 250,000 people in 2022 by organising webinars, promoting the #TempCheckChallenge, running demos on their yard or sharing SAW’s exclusive social media content during the week to their equine network!
