5 Bradley Road stables will always be my first choice for

Bradley Road stables will always be my first choice for training livery and lessons. The horses are looked after superbly, the yard is beautifully kept and Fiona's wealth of knowledge is amazing. The yard is by far one of the most friendly places I have been. Lessons are fun, supportive, encouraging and I always come away feeling like I have learnt a lot. Highly recommended to all :)

4 I am a grass roots rider, I didn't start

I am a grass roots rider, I didn't start riding until I was almost 40, ( so not long ago, ) I have known Fiona for many years and when calamity struck and I completely lost my nerve and confidence, ( hyper ventilation and needing to dismount in a lesson doesn't begin to describe the terror ) Fiona slowly got me back on track, I was possibly the oldest competitor on the Hickstead Show jumping teams. But now, I can hack out, on my own, and do what I think passes for dressage. Fiona's greatest asset is that she is able to teach and enthuse anyone keen to ride, from grass root riders to the advanced and Grand Prix people. Always there to encourage and help, never to put down or criticise. She has great empathy with the horses and is able to quickly identify difficulties and issues, Once you have a lesson with her you'll count the days until you can get back .Give it a go.

5 This yard is truly fantastic! I have known Fiona for

This yard is truly fantastic! I have known Fiona for over 14 years and she has cared for my horses at yards in Surrey, Berkshire and for the last 7 months at her new base in Wiltshire. Fiona's standard of care and attention to detail are second to none. She is an extremely experienced horsewoman who always puts the needs of the horses first. At the same time Fiona is very relaxed and easy going, this makes for a great atmosphere on the yard, she actively encourages a supportive environment and knows how to have fun! I have also trained with Fiona for the last 14 years, during that time she has helped me train my older horse from Novice dressage to almost Grand Prix, as well as teaching me to take my younger horse from being just backed to now competing at PSG. Given that I was too scared to even canter my older horse when I first met her, this is some achievement! I cannot speak highly enough about the care and training that Fiona provides. I would encourage people to come and visit her brand new yard with amazing facilities to see for themselves.
