This yard is just awesome! My mare loves the quiet fields and the calm atmosphere of the yard.The setting is beautiful and very private. The owners Seamus and Amy are so knowledgable and experienced, it makes a huge difference to be somewhere where you get friendly advice. They put a lot of effort in with their liveries and always go the extra mile.

Heaven for horses and heaven for liveries! The support, care and sense of community in this wonderful, friendly yard has kept me here for 7 years. When I retired my 20yr old ex-racer, everyone asked “will you move him to retirement livery somewhere?”. My reply was “No. He’s been happier at Lakeview than any other home in 14 years. He deserves to stay here and he’s earned it”. Because Amy, Seamus and Lakeview are so special, I now have a second ex-r from them who is also as happy as can be here and I have their help on our journey together. The most experienced and supportive yard owners with the best group of liveries you could wish for. Everyone looking out for each other, helping each other and supporting each other regardless of level, ability or ambition. And if that lot wasn’t enough, the facilities amount to everything you could want at a livery yard. Any horse & owner would be lucky to be at Lakeview :)

Lakeview is the most fabulous livery yard, not only does it have top class facilities including an indoor and outdoor arena, show jumps a plenty, a wonderful cross country schooling field and much more, but the views are spectacular. Amy and Seamus are so welcoming and have opened up their home to all the livery owners and have made it such a wonderful, relaxed, supportive and friendly place to be. The horses in turn are relaxed, happy, and can thrive in this fantastic setting.

I was a livery at Lakeview for 6 years and loved it. The owners are knowledgable and kind. The facilities are well looked after, the arena has a wonderful surface. I would highly recommend this yard.

Amy & Seamus have created an amazing yard full of wonderful people and happy relaxed horses. The facilities are fantastic and Seamus did a wonderful job backing my 3 year old ID mare who’s now hacking out confidently alone or in company. Amy is always on hand for lessons which you always come away from feeling like you’ve achieved something and have a plan to work on. All in all the knowledge and experience combined with the beautiful location make Lakeview a truly lovely place to be.

I have been at lakeview for a few years now and myself and my horse couldn’t be happier. The team take great care of the establishment and of the horses. Amy is a fabulous instructor. She is kind, patience and calm with the right amount of firmness to get you making great progress. She really takes time with you and builds you up as a team with your horse. You couldn’t ask for better home tuition. Seamus is fabulous. There isn’t a thing that he doesn’t know about horses. He is helpful and kind and amazing with the horses. If you have a problem he can help you solve it. The liveries are great. We all get along and help each other out. It’s a great team feel. We support each other and celebrate each others triumphs. Amy and Seamus have a great team of skilled professionals around them who offer support to horse sthrough massages and physio. There is not a thing that is ever a problem. It’s a wonderful place where you and your family are welcome and become part of the family. We are spoilt with amazing views come rain or shine. Great hacks and off road hacks too! I really couldn’t be happier here and couldn’t recommend the team enough.
