Strength & Learning Through Horses has to offer Working Retirement Livery vacancies.
The cost per calendar month is £250.00
Included in the cost is a Full Livery Service with the horses living out all-year-round on our track and field system and brought in when the weather is unacceptable. Farrier visits every 6 weeks, worm-egg-count 4X per year and wormed when/if the w.e.c is above 200epg. All feed, hay and stabling is included.
We will use the horse for a maximum of 2 hours per day, six days per week. (Maximum 10 hours per week). Please note that we are a ‘non-riding’ equine therapy centre working with young people and adults. Work will involve, but not exclusively – Grooming, Leading, Lunging, Long-reining and general ground work for enrichment.

• All horses must have impeccable manners – no biting or kicking and be able to live easily in a herd.
• All horses are to be unshod and up to date with Flu & Tetanus.
• Insurance is a personal choice but the minimum we ask is for them to be insured for Public liability/Indemnity.
• Please note that this price is costed on our hay remaining at £7.50 per bale. Prices may increase with short noticed only if justified.
