Ferry Farm Livery Yard

Having horses all my life it was a difficult decision moving from the yard I had been at for 6 years. However 2 1/2 years later I’m in love with Ferry farm, its facilities and the family. The only regret I have was not coming here sooner! Violet is brilliant, her knowledge is second to none and her staff are all wonderful. They all care so much about each and every horse on the yard. Violet lives on site so you are settled knowing your horse is looked out for during the nights. The facilities are superb! With shows during summer months being held regularly and the off road hacking not to forget the choices of pub rides! This truly is a fantastic livery yard set in the stunning Norfolk countryside.

Ferry Farm is an excellent livery yard. Violet has looked after my horses as if they were her own for more than 8 years. Violet’s colleagues are equally dedicated and I trust them all with my horses. The facilities are great: large stables, plenty of storage space, two schools to ride in and a lunge pen as well as local hacking routes. Violet does her best to ensure that horses are turned out every day despite the weather, with only a few rare occasions when ice has made that impossible. She follows a consistent routine so the horses are happy and settled. There are regular dressage and jumping competitions/clinics in the summer months and there is a supportive community feel to the yard. We are very happy here and I have no hesitation in recommending Ferry Farm livery yard.

I’ve been at this yard for 9 years now and the service has never let me down. You livery package is totally customisable and horses are handled with care. The owner is on site 24/7 so you can sleep with peace of mind your horse will be checked in the night. Facilities are fantastic and shows are run on site through the summer. I cannot say enough good things about this yard, it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made for myself and my pony. Not only are the facilities amazing and the opportunities second to none but the support and community has changed everything for my pony and me. Violet is incredible and the yard is a real family. Couldn’t recommend this yard enough, it’s a real privilege being able to have my pony here xx I wish I had moved here sooner!

This yard is amazing, so well run and friendly, hugely supportive and Violet has a vast depth of knowledge. Violet and her fabulous team go above and beyond for their liveries and horses. Clinics, shows, lessons, brilliant hacking, lunge pen, 2 sand arenas. Can honestly say I’ve never had a moment of doubt about keeping my horse here. Highly recommend

I can not recommend ferry farm livery enough, my friend and came to the yard on a temporary basis but completely fell in love with everything about this yard that we decided to stay, the yard owner is just amazing, supportive, knowledgeable and always on hand for anything you might need , the yard staff are friendly and always willing to help you out, 100% would recommend

Very well run tidy yard with owner on site. Field management is very good and mud is not an issue here! Good facilities.

Absolutely superb yard. The staff are kind, caring and supportive. The hacking and arena facilities are excellent with regular dressage, show-jumping and clinics at home. Violet goes out of her way to accommodate your individual needs and make you and your horse feel part of the family. Highly recommended.
