Here at Thurgood Farm we strive to provide a 5* service.

We offer packages to suit your own personal needs, the horses welfare always comes first and we keep them all in a regular routine.

We offer Part and Full Livery. Thurgood Farm is based in a quiet area near Eight Ash Green in Colchester.

We are a family run yard that promotes a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Most of our liveries have been with us for years and we don’t have a huge turnover of clients.

We offer 5* care and the client’s needs are a priority as well as the horses’ welfare.

Our facilities include a 60x20m school, a 20x20m lunge pen, 5 horse Monarch horsewalker.

We have a private track that runs round the farm, as well as quiet lanes and links to the Essex Bridleways.

Our small team consists of people that have had over 25 years of experience in the horse industry.

The yard is professionally run and our prices are fair.

We also invite trainers to hold clinics, and we also run low-key summer events.
